This pendant features black septarian stone — a rare, naturally occurring stone formed millions of years ago when volcanic activity and mineral-rich sediment created pockets of calcite, aragonite, and limestone. These nodules eventually cracked and hardened into the distinctive patterns seen today. This particular stone was sourced from Utah, one of the few places where black septarian is found.
